Interactive Recycling Map
Recycling. You know that it’s a good thing to do. But what if you live in an apartment building that doesn’t offer a recycling program? Or what if you have cleaning supplies, paint, batteries, or other hazardous household materials that can be recycled, or at least shouldn’t be thrown away with regular trash? This interactive map can help you figure out where to take your recyclables. You can search for a drop off facility by type of material accepted or by location. You can even get directions to and from the facility and then leave a comment about the experience for others to see. Check it out by clicking on the image below.
Maps of Curbside Recycling Ineligibility
The City of Cincinnati offers curbside recycling to residences with nine or fewer units. This means that many households are ineligible to participate in the residential recycling program. The four maps below show the total number or percentage of households per census block group that are not eligible to participate in the recycling program because they are part of large buildings or complexes.
